☼ WHAT'S IN MY MAKEUP BAG ☼

I'm sooooo sorry for lagging on posting blogs. School is no joke and it's kept me so busy, and it's not what I want. But hey, its the price to pay to get an education, I suppose. So with that said, lets get started!!! 


It's honestly nothing special, but this is all that I've got in my makeup bag, so lets start with the bag and then I'll move on from there. ☼

1. Zoella Beauty Just Say Yes Beauty Bag.

For those of you who know me well also know that I have this HUGE love for the UK. Not only that, but I admire Zoe so much. When I first saw, on Twitter, that she had a new makeup bag released, I HAD to purchase it. Not because of it being Zoe's, but because it was pink & gold and I LOVE that colour combination, so it worked out perfectly.

I love it so much and it fits so many things. It's perfect for me. This was also in my January '15 favourites.

2. The Body Shop: Body Butter (Coconut)

I love love love The Body Shop! I picked up one of these small containers, that holds 1.69oz, at Ulta. It's perfect for on the go and to carry around in your purse. This doesn't leave my skin greasy and its not liquidy at all! I love the texture and what it does for my skin. And the scent is SO amazing.

3. Lavender Oil

This stuff is a must for me. I'm the type of person that just needs to chill out sometimes. Whether its at work or at school. And so I dab just a bit on the back of my neck, temples, behind my ears, and sometimes under my nose. Just so that my headaches go away, if my stress levels rise, or even just to stay relaxed. I also use it on bug bites, sun burn, before bed, acne, and cramps. For those of you who are not familiar with lavender, it's basically just a stress reliever, calms irritated skin and redness, and so much more! I don't like taking pain killers whenever I've got a headache, so I just turn to my essential oils and lavender is definitely a go-to.

Because of all the lip products I carry, I need to carry a lip scrub with me. This does the job and leaves my lips feeling so great! Applying my lipstick or lip balm after scrubbing them with Popcorn makes the job so much easier. This was also in my January favourites. 

5. The Body Shop: Honeymania Lip Balm

Another January favourite! In that blog post, I mentioned that it was like conditioner for your lips and it is! I carry two lip balms - one tinted & one that isn't. This one isn't tinted. What I like to do after I use the lipscrub and don't want colour, I apply this and feel so well taken care of. If that makes sense. :) 

6. Lush Eu Roma Water

I know what you're thinking, "THIS ISN'T LUSH, IT'S IN A BLUE BOTTLE." Chill. ♡ I bought the bigger bottle (8.4 fl oz), so I got this little blue spray bottle at Target so that I could carry Eu Roma wherever I go. And it was the greatest idea I've ever had. :)

7. Tarte: Lights, Camera, LASHES

I recently purchased this mascara for these reasons: it was on sale at Ulta for the 21 Days of Beauty event, I was on the hunt for GOOD mascara, it was by Tarte and I'm a huge #tartelette. It's amazing and I wasn't let down. I carry it on the go because I forget to apply mascara (since I don't use it because my eyelashes are so long and thick as they are), but I keep it if I feel the need to use it. :)

8. Rimmel London Stay Matte

This powder is long lasting and helps my t-zone stay matte. The name of the product says it all and I always carry this with me. ♡

9. Zoeva 106 Brush

This is a powder brush that is best friends with both my powders in my makeup bag. I love Zoeva so much, and I'm so grateful for this amazing brush. *** Might make a blog post in the near future on my review on Zoeva brushes ***

This is a sheer tinted lipbalm. AND I LOVE IT. It's so dainty and it repairs my lips when they're at their worst. It's cherry scented and not overpowering at all. Go to your drug store RIGHT NOW and purchase this! -insert heart eyed emoji- 

11. Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain in 001 Honey

This is also in my January Favourites, so I won't get into too much detail. But this is something that I wear when I want a small pinky colour. It's very cute and calm and long lasting.

This is exactly like number 11, but in a different colour. (obviously) The packaging does justice on the color. :)

Okay, so I got this as a sample with one of my purchases at Ulta. It's so nourishing and you should look up on their website. They go into detail on how it has amazing properties. :) Personally, I like it. And the pigment is soooo cute! ♡

14. Benefit Watt's Up!

This was also a sample I received at Sephora and I keep it with me whenever I want to reapply highlight on my cheeks. Cheeky! :)

15. Tweezerman Tweezers

Hey, you'll never know when you'll need these. ;)

16. Lush Solid Perfume - Karma

This smells citrusy and like patchouli. I love this scent so much. It's warm and it makes me so happy. ♡♡♡

17. DOTERRA Peppermint Oil

This is my life savor when I've got a headache or cramps. Like I mentioned with the lavender oil, I don't like taking painkillers and putting those chemicals in my body. Especially when these oils will help relieve pain without having to worry about what I put in my body. It also gives me mental clarity in class to focus. I apply it on the hairline on my forehead, behind my neck, and behind my ears for headaches. It does so much, but these are the reasons why I carry it in my makeup bag.

18. MAC Select Sheer Pressed Powder in NC5 

This was in my January favourites. I love carrying this around to help out my t-zone when needed. You should also read the review about it in my January favourites post if you're interested. :)

19. Maybelline Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer

The name of this is such a mouthful! But it does wonders, so I'll give it that. ;) This is handsdown the best drug store concealer that I have come in contact with. The name of this describes it very well. I've been needing to carry this with me because I've been breaking out from stress and use this to cover up blemishes. It's also perfect for the under eye circles (INCLUDING PUFFINESS, WHICH I HAVE ALL THE TIME) and makes it look like you've got a full nights sleep instead of looking like you were studying and doing homework like a mad woman. I also love the cute applicator. You will be hearing a lot more about this concealer on my blog because I LOVE it. ♡

20. MAC Glaze Lipstick in Hot Tahiti

This is an everyday lipstick that adds a bit of pigment to your lips without it looking like it's "too much." I love it. :)

Mac Matte Lipstick in Hearts Aflame

21. MAC Matte Lipstick in Hearts Aflame

This is a deep red, and if it's layered, it's a deep burgundy. It's such a great lipstick to have. I'm not sure if they still sell it, but if you NEED this, Diva is also a good alternative.
